For quite some time, I'd forgotten about my superpower. I felt hurt, kept reliving painful moments and harsh things that were said. It started to live a life of its own, and over time I started to endure less focus and concentration.
Throughout history, humankind has sought various tools to regulate the hormonal reactions, performance, and alertness of the human body. One of the most interesting prospects involves boosting brain performance, cognitive function, and memory.
When it comes to optimising brain health, I am a bit of a geek. I was doing all the right stuff to improve my brain power, yet nothing seemed to reverse that feeling of losing grip; I was getting enough high-quality sleep, I meditated, I consumed brain supporting foods and supplements, I exercised, I even engaged in creative tasks and took part in social activities (even when I felt not like it).

Our experience of life is generated by the thoughts passing through our heads at any given time. Our experience is coming from inside of us – not the other way around. Despite the outside world trying to convince us otherwise. When we truly understand how we create reality, surprising and profound changes occur in our lives and in the world around us. It is a simple solution. Everyone has a mind, and everything in life gets better when we learn how to use it more effectively. I held onto thoughts until those beliefs started to affect my cognition.
One thought can change everything. How do we unlock the human capacity to access fresh thinking, to see anew, to innovate, to collaborate, and to create solutions to all challenges, however big or small? I let go of the thoughts I planted inside my head that represented someone else's views and insecurities because those weren't mine to begin with. Guess what? All my thoughts have wings again, they are sane, bouncy, filled with love and joy. And my focus and concentration? Getting there!
